Rob brings over thirty years of entrepreneurial, general business and business development experience to the board.

Over the course of his professional career to date, he has been involved in the establishment and development of a number of successful businesses. Prior to relocating to Australia with his family in 2000, he built a successful financial services business in South Africa between 1984 and 1996. After expanding into London he sold the group and continued to develop other entrepreneurial interests.

In Australia Rob has established businesses and continues to maintain interests in a number of business opportunities. In 2000 Rob purchased a large equity stake in AIRS Pty Limited which was a small independent reinsurance broking company. Together with his two partners they successfully built the business and sold it in 2004 to a large London listed international reinsurance broking group.

In addition to Rob’s equity interests and responsibilities he is the Chairman of Hollard Insurance Company Australia which forms part of a very large privately owned South African Insurance Group. The Australian subsidiary opened in Sydney in 1999.
